Why should we consider celebrating Teachers' Day on January 3rd instead of September 5th? When Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was Vice President in 1954 he got Bharat Ratna from his President. When he become President of India then he told that instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if 5th September is observed as Teachers' day.
